SVU – Czech Republic and the United Nations

I had the honor of being invited to present my work on the art-language workshops at the fifth 6-Minute Challenge organized by the New York chapter of SVU (The Czech and Slovak Society of Arts and Sciences). Thank you Suzanna Halsey, Chris Harwood and Jiří Mirovský for the wonderful organization of the event and the opportunity to meet other Czech professionals.

I am looking forward to SVU’s next event “The Czech Republic and the United Nations” hosted on Wednesday, May 17th, 7pm at the Bohemian National Hall, 321 East 73rd St., NYC.

For those interested, the panel discussion is moderated by Jiří Ellinger, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the United Nations. The evening will be an opportunity to meet diplomats of the Czech Mission to the UN and find out what keeps the busy, worries them and makes them laugh at work. Get the inside scoop, serious and not so serious: How strong is the voice of the Czech Republic? or Why do countries serve free ice cream at the UN? (from the SVU program)

The event is organized by the SVU and the Permanent Mission of the Czech Republic to the UN.
